Keith Jahans was born in Bristol in July 1948.  He left Bristol in 1967 to study applied biology in Barking, Essex.  He moved to Surrey in 1969 where he now lives and works as a microbiologist.  He has gained membership of the Institute of Biology and an MSc in Immunology at the University of London. 

     He began writing fiction to amuse himself, friends and family in his early teens.  In 1996 he co-founded “Peatmore Press” to publish his own work and to continue to entertain.  He lives in Woking, England with his wife and two children.
